On Saturday 11 August, the West Croydon Football Club senior men will wear blue football socks during their games to raise awareness of depression and anxiety in the community by supporting the work of beyondblue.

Over 3 million Australians are living with anxiety or depression and beyondblue provides information and support to help everyone achieve their best possible mental health, whatever their age and wherever they live.

By purchasing the socks for the games, the WCFC will contribute to just over $500 in fundraising dollars towards this cause. By contributing, the WCFC players and members are working to reduce the stigma associated with anxiety, depression and suicide within our community.
